Godfire has elements of black (Immortal, Dissection Darkthrone) and death metal (Behemoth Arch Enemy Amon Amarth). We strive to balance groove, melody and dissonance. Our first output was hard fought for, and we are proud of these compositions, while primitive, they make up with force and beauty. The Lyrics explore rage, mindfulness, perservance and vengeance. They are presented in a ritualistic and religious way. Striving for an ideal that will never be obtained.
